NEW Teen Driving Program Available
Through a partnership program of the insurance industry and the MA & NH state transportation offices a Parent’s Supervised Driving Program has been developed. This new curriculum provides information and lessons on driving basics, parental pointers, and licensing qualifications for new drivers, and is of no cost to families or taxpayers.

Don’t feel bad, according to Independent Insurance Adjusters & Brokers of America (IIABA) about two-thirds of renters in the U.S. don’t have renters insurance. Many renters think they don’t need insurance simply because they don’t own the property. Minuteman Health Coop to Close, Reopen as For-Profit Insurer
Minuteman Health of New Hampshire will exit the Affordable Care Act exchanges in 2018, leaving only four co-ops in operation. The health insurer cited issues with Obamacare’s risk-adjustment program, a program that shifts money away from those with healthy enrollees to those with sicker customers. Tom Policelli, CEO of the co-op said “We want to continue to offer our members a quality, more affordable coverage option in 2018 and beyond through the new company we are currently working to organize. Forming Minuteman Insurance Company will allow us to address numerous federal restrictions and work to make our coverage available to more people.” Check out the blog for all of the details…
