We're flipping the tables and now it's your turn to answer questions! To serve you better and ensure that we have you properly covered, we need to know a fair amount of your personal information. So don't be shy, please be very direct about your insurance needs and truthful regarding your insurance history. We at Brownell Insurance Center seek to fully understand your unique situation and preferences so we can best assist you with your financial security and goals. Our individualized service enables us to help you better understand your insurance policies. It's your right to know exactly how you are covered at all times, to understand how to file a claim, and how that claim could affect you in the future. Remember, you have the right to choose your own coverages and limits of liability, but we make every effort to advise you so that you can make informed decisions on insurance needs.

Our entire customer service staff is licensed with the state of NH and is required to take continued insurance education so they are knowledgeable regarding your insurance needs. However, we are not able to make changes in your insurance without your knowledge or without your signature. We do not have discretionary authority... the authority to act on your behalf without contacting you first. Our agency is under the doctrine of making no changes to your insurance without your express permission. For example, we will not remove or change the coverages on your auto insurance policy when the auto dealer calls without contacting you. Your mortgage company can not merely call and tell us to change your mortgagee clause for we will not do it without your knowledge. These measures are for your protection... We have had calls and when we call the client they refuse to allow the change (i.e. they did not originate the loan or they decided not to purchase the vehicle).

We encourage you to meet with us at least yearly to review your insurance needs. If you have a life event occur during the year, such as the licensing of a teen driver, new phone, address, or e-mail, refinance your home, or have a change in your marital status, we need to know quickly and adjust your insurance accordingly. Life changes usually indicate the need for an insurance review. Service is the key to a long, lasting relationship with you, our valued client. Expect to hear from us a few times a year to ensure we have provided you with the best possible service. Think of Brownell Insurance Center before the "ifs" in life happen.
