| 10 Tips for Improving
Insurance Scores Insurance companies use your insurance score together with numerous other factors to determine the best pricing available to you. If you have a high insurance score and no prior claims or accidents you will qualify for the best rates. An Insurance Score includes: • Your payment history • Bankruptcy, foreclosures and collection activity • Length of credit history • Amount of outstanding debt • Types of credit in use: mortgages, loans, etc. • Number of new applications for credit How can you improve your insurance score? 1. Pay your bills on time. Paying bills on time improves your score. 2. Manage any outstanding balances. You should maintain balances at least 75% below available credit. 3. Avoid excessive inquiries to your credit reports. Too many inquiries negatively impact your score. 4. Limit the number of credit accounts. Access to excessive unused credit could result in too much debt. 5. Review your credit report regularly. Know what is on your credit report and take steps to dispute any discrepancies. 6. Avoid quick credit fixes. Good credit is built over time. 7. Manage your debt consolidation. Pay down your debt without creating new credit activity. 8. Limit the amount of new debt you take. Too many loans or credit will have a negative effect on your credit rating. 9. Establish credit. Longer credit history has a positive impact on your score. 10. Work with your creditors. Resolve outstanding balances without a debt collector. |

Need Dental Insurance? We’ve got you covered! AFLAC’s Dental Plan provides basic, preventive, and major dental benefits to covered individuals on either a direct payment or payroll deduction. Eligible treatments are listed in the policy by American Dental Association (ADA) code. The Dental Wellness Benefit is payable once per visit, regardless of the number of treatments received. For benefits to be payable, 150 days or more must separate dental wellness visits. This benefit is payable twice per policy year, per covered person. A dentist or dental hygienist must perform the treatment. There is no waiting period for this benefit. Contact us for further details. |
